What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as the skin for websites built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is incredibly simple to setup. You may quickly modify the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files, and you are free to change and expand it however you see fit.

Files structure

The template bundle that you downloaded is divided into various directories. Let's examine the contents of each folder:

  • Screenshots : contains screenshots of templates. Not for manufacturing.

  • Theme : files for the WordPress themes.

  • alt-Kids-pro.zip: All of the files required for the theme are contained in this folder.

  • license.txt : details of the licence.

  • readme.txt : contain details on the theme's image paths and font usage instructions.

BWT Key Activation

The steps for activating a BWT key are as follows.

Given that you will receive the License Key via Email, use that key to Activate License.

Follow the following Process to Activate License.

Go to the Dashboard Appearance BWT Key Activation Enter Key Save Changes.

Activate the licence after entering the key.

After you activate the licence, the key becomes active, and you can then start using the theme.

You can activate your Licence Key in this manner.

My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

WordPress may be unable to create directories, upload photos, or execute some scripts if file permissions are set incorrectly.

To manage files and create directories on the server, WordPress needs permissions.

  • Then, choose "File Permissions" from the context menu when you right-click on all of the folders in the root directory.
  • The permissions dialogue box in wp-config tick the box next to "Read and Write" >> To go further, click the OK button.
  • Repeat the same procedure with the wp-content folder.

Template Installation

Installing a template is a simple process.

Step 1. Theme Installation

Logging into your WordPress admin area is the first step you need to take. then click on

visit the menu the themes of appearance

Click the Add New button at the top of the themes page after you've arrived there.

Click on upload theme button.

Choose your alt-Kids-pro.zip theme by clicking the Browse button, and then click the Install Now button.

WordPress will now complete the installation of your theme and display a success message with a link to activate or see a live preview.

Step 2. Install a Theme using FTP

The theme can be uploaded using FTP, which is your second installation option. To use this method, first log into your website using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Just extract the Total folder from the theme file you got and upload it to your server.

To activate entire folder, log into your WordPress site next and go to Appearance Themes.

Plugin Installation.

With plugins, you can increase and expand the functionality of WordPress.

How to turn on plug-ins If you want these features in your theme, you must activate the plugin. In order to activate the plugin in your theme, follow these instructions.

The following instructions for uploading a plugin can be used to manually install a WordPress plugin from a.zip archive.

Posttype plugin for alt-kids-pro and Contact Form 7

The Kids Pro theme requires the installation and activation of the Kids Pro plugin; without this theme, your site's content cannot be displayed.

1.Add Plugin :CLICK DASHBOARD Add New Upload plugin..

click on the install now button and activate.

One-Click Demo Content Importer

To set up your theme, simply click to import sample content. You can follow the instructions in this article to develop your website for website creation.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance. Start now

Next select "Run Importer" after selecting "Demo Content Importer".

Section Ordering

Section Reordering and How to Organize

To reorder a part simply means to arrange it according to our needs. Drag the segment to the top or bottom as necessary to continue with this section. Your front view will change in accordance with customizer options when you drag any portion to the top or bottom.

You can reorder sections by simply dragging and dropping the options into the desired order.

After selecting "Demo Content Importer," click "Run Importer."

Typography / General settings

The method of changing the colour or font is quite simple. These choices are available in all customizer areas. It is a comprehensive graphic that demonstrates the typeface and colour palette. You can change the colour and font of the headings, paragraphs, and buttons with a single glance or click.

Depending on the number of options accessible in each part, there is an option to change the colour scheme for the headings, title/text, paragraph, button text, and button background.

How to set up homepage

Setup Home Page

Set up your home page by following these instructions.

To set a template, create a page: Visit the Dashboard Pages New Page, please.

Decide on the template.

Set the home page to: Set Reading in the Setting Set the home page as the front page display static page.

When you're finished, you can view the entire demo on the top page.

Site Identity

Setup Product Search Section

Setup Header

In order to setup the Header, follow the below steps.

Go to Select Dashboard Choose Pages Go for Add New

For menus you need to create menu and add menus from Add menu items.

Go to The Appearance To Customize The Theme Settings Header.

If you wish to add more pages, follow the same procedure again..

This will allow you to add the Header section.


Setup Product Categories Section

In order to continue with Product Categories, First you need upload and activate Woocommerce plugin.

On the dashboard following installation, a Product choice will show up.

select The Dashboard Go to Product Categories Add New.

Setup Slider

In order to continue with slider.

Setup Most Popular Toys

Product Categories can be continued when you upload and activate the Woocommerce plugin.

On the dashboard following installation, a Product choice will show up.

Go to The Dashboard Click on Product Choose Categories Add New.

Setup Product Offers 1 Section

In order to continue with Product Offers 1 Section.

Setup Trending Products

Product Categories can be continued when you upload and activate the Woocommerce plugin.

On the dashboard following installation, a Product choice will show up.

Select The Dashboard Product go for Categories Add New.


Go to The Appearance Choose Customize Theme Settings Trending Products.


This will allow you to setup Trending Products Section


Setup Product Offers 2 Section

In order to continue with Product Offers 2 Section.

Setup Happy Clients Section

Happy Clients can be continued after you upload and activate the alt-kids-pro-posttype.

After installation Product option will appear on the dashboard.

Select The Dashboard Choose Clients Add New.


In order to continue with Happy Clients Section.

Setup On Sale Product Section

In order to continue with Product Categories, First you need upload and activate Woocommerce plugin.

On the dashboard following installation, a Product choice will show up.

Select The Dashboard Product The Categories Add New.

Setup Latest News Section

In order to continue with Latest News section,

Click On Dashboard Select Posts Add New .

Choose Appearance Go to Customize Theme Settings Latest News .

This will allow you to Latest News section.


Setup Product Offers 3

In order to continue with Product Offers 3,

To further configure this part, please refer to the screenshots below. To begin, upload and activate the Woocommerce plugin.

Follow these instructions when the Products option appears on the dashboard following installation.

Go to Click on Dashboard The Product Categories Add New.


Click On The Appearance Customize Theme Settings Product Offers 3.

This will allow you to Product Offers 3.


Setup Instagram Feed

The Instagram feed option will show on the dashboard after installation; proceed as directed.

Go to The Dashboard Select instagram feed connect with instagram account

Setup Home Page Contact Section

In order to continue with Home Page Contact,

Select Appearance go to Customize Theme Settings Home Page Contact.

This will allow you to setup Home Page Contact Section


Setup Post Settings section

To further configure this section, please see the screenshots below. To begin, you must upload and activate the Kids Pro Posttype plugin.

Go to The Dashboard Select Posts And Add New.

Go to the Appearance Select Customize Theme Settings Post Settings.

This will allow you to setup Post Settings section.


Setup General Settings Section

Refer screenshots below to further set up this section.

Go to The Appearance Choose Customize Theme Settings General Settings .


This will allow you to setup General Settings.


Setup Newsletter

In order to continue with Newsletter Section.

You must first upload and activate the Contact Form 7 plugin before you can set up the Newsletter Section.

Go to The Dashboard Select Contact Add New .


Click On Appearance Choose Customize Theme Settings Footer Text.


This will allow you to Newsletter Section



Footer Text

In order to continue with Footer Text section

Go to the Appearance Than Customize Select Theme Settings Footer Text..

In footer text section,select copyright text.

Footer text section will be Appear on page like this.

Setup Contact Page

You must download and activate the contact form 7 plugin in order to set up the Contact Page.

Go to the Dashboard Select Contact Add New .


Go to The Dashboard Choose page contact.


Go to The Appearance Select Customize Theme Settings Contact.

This is how the Contact Page will look on the page.


Themes Plugin

  • With plugins, you can increase and expand the functionality of WordPress.

    If you want these features in your theme, you must activate the plugin. In order to activate the plugin in your theme, follow these instructions.

    How to activate plugins

    Go to the Plugins Select Installed Plugins alt-kids-pro-Posttype. Activate

Page Templates and Sidebars

Page Templates

  • Default Template (The default page template with a right sidebar position)

  • Home Page Template (Front page with the demo content)

  • Blog Full Width Extend (Page template with no sidebar position)

  • Blog with Left Sidebar (A page templates with left sidebar position)

  • Blog With Right Sidebar (A page template with right sidebar position)

  • Page with Left Sidebar (A page templates with left sidebar position)

  • Page With Right Sidebar (A page template with right sidebar position)

  • Contact Template (The default Contact template with no sidebar position)

Posts, Categories and Post Formats

Adding the category

  • Access your WordPress Administration Panel by logging in (Dashboard).

  • Click the Posts tab.

  • With that done, click the Categories for blog posts.

  • Type in the name of your new category.

  • After that, click the Add New Category button.

Click on the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post

  • Access your WordPress Administration Panel by logging in (Dashboard).

  • Click on the Posts tab.

  • Click the Add New the tab.

Shortcodes

A shortcode is an effective tool for creating content.click here Shortcodes are easy to use. First of all, make sure that the editing mode is set to Visual.

Go to Dashboard Pages Add New Page.

After adding the shortcode Clients page will appear like this


Custom Widgets

In order to continue with Widget section,

Go to the Dashboard select Appearance Click on Widgets.

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

1.The plugin must first be downloaded from the source (which will be a zip file) ( Post Type plugin.zip). Then, click the Plugins » Add New page in the WordPress admin area.

2.Then, select the Upload Plugin button located at the top of the page.

3.You'll arrive at the plugin upload page after doing this. Next, you must select the plugin file you already downloaded to your computer by clicking the choose file option.

4.After choosing the file, you must select the install now option.

5.The plugin file from your computer will now be uploaded to WordPress, where it will be installed. After installation is complete, a notice like this will appear.

6.To use the plugin after installation, click the link that says "Activate Plugin."
