File Structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

    Screenshots -   contains template screenshot. Not for production.

  • theme -contains wordpress theme files
  • "bwt-handyman-cleaner-pro-1.0 zip" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" -contain information about theme images path, font use and usage script

BWT Key Activation

The BWT Key Activation process can be done as follows.

As you will get the License Key on your Email, use that key to Activate License.

Follow the following Process to Activate License.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >>BWT Setup Wizard>>Enter Key>>Next


After Entering The Key >> Activate Licence.


After you Activate Licence,the key will be active and then you can Getstarted with the Theme.


In this way you can activate your Licence Key.

Template Installation

Template installation is very easy process. The installation process can be done in two ways.

1-Install a theme using wordpress admin

First thing you need to do is to login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on

1.Go to the menu Appearance >> Themes

2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.

3. Click on upload theme button.

4. Click on Browse Button then select your bwt-handyman-cleaner-pro.zip theme and click on install now button.

5. WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Congratulations your theme have been successfully installed

Demo Importer

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup.This content will guide you through building your website for website creation

Before Run Importer you have to install all the required Plugins

1. Go to the Dashboard >>BWT Setup Wizard

Click on "Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer".

How to set up Home Page

Setup "Home page".

Create Page to set template:Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.

Set the front page:Go to Setting -> Reading --> Set the post page display static page to home page

Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup "Site Identity"

In order to proceed with Site Identity,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Site Identity

Setup "Topbar"

In order to proceed with Topbar,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Topbar

Setup "Slider" Section

Follow the below steps to setup the slider

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.



Setup "About Us" Section

Next step in order to proceed with about us is to edit the Customizer Setting for this

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>About Us

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.



Setup "Our Record" Section

Follow the below steps to setup the our record

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Our Record Settings

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.

Setup "Our Services" Section

Create Page to set template:Go to Dashboard >> Services >> Services >> Add New

Follow the below steps to setup the Our Services

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Our Services Settings

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.




Setup "Book Your Services" Section

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New

Next step in order to proceed with Book Your Services is to edit the Customizer Setting for this

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Book Your Services

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.

Setup "Pricing Plan" Section

Next step in order to proceed with Pricing Plan is to edit the Customizer Setting for this

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Pricing Plan

Setting Options : Includes settings for Service display enable/disable option. With this setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.




Setup "Our Testimonial " Section

Follow the below steps to setup Our Testimonial Section

Firstly you need to create the Post as shown below

Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >> Add New

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Testimonial

Here, enter section title, section sub title number of tabs to show, tab title and gallery shortcode. For better understanding refer below screenshot.

Setup "Our Team" Section

Setup "Latest Blog" Section

Follow the below steps to setup Latest Blog Section

Firstly you need to create the Post as shown below

Go to Dashboard >> Post >> Add New

Setup "Newsletter" Section

Before proceeding with the Newsletter section, we need to install Contact Form 7 plugin.After activating the plugin you will find Contact section in your Dashboard

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Our Newsletter Section

Enable/Disable option: Here, you can select the enable/disable option to show this section.s setting, you can enable/disable this section. This is very important setting. If you want this section to appear on your website, just let the option be enabled and if you don't want this section to appear on your website, you can select disable and this section will disappear from your website.






Plugins

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to activate plugins

If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

Go to Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Plugin Name >>Activate

Total three plugins are added. For more understanding, refer below image.

1.Contact Form 7 Plugin

Here Contact form 7 plugin is added for Newsletter Section. After activating this Plugin, you can do the form setting as per requirement and copy the Shortcode in the Newsletter shortcode field in Newsletter customizer setting.

After adding the shortcode in the Footer Section you can see the Newsletter in the footer as shown below.

Page Templates and sidebars

Page Templates

  • Default Template (the default page template with a right sidebar position)
  • Page (Left Sidebar) (a page templates with left sidebar position)
  • Page (Right Sidebar) (a page template with right sidebar position)
  • Blog (Full Width) (a blog templates with one column without sidebar)
  • Contact Template (the default Contact template with no sidebar position)
  • Home Page Template (the default home page template with right sidebar position)

Post, Categories and Post Formats

  • Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  • Click the Posts tab.
  • With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
  • Type in the name of your new category.
  • After that, click the Add New Category button.
Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Click the Add New tab.
  4. Type in your post content.

Fetch All the Properties: --> [all_properties]
Fetch All the Properties By Categpory: --> [properties_by_cat cat_name="Add category slug"]
Fetch All the Agents: --> [agents]
Fetch All the Testimonials: -->[testimonials]

Additional Theme Addons

 How to Setup Additional Theme Addons
  1. First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (bwt-title-banner-image.zip and bwt-gallery-images.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.
  2. After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.
  3. This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.
  4. After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.
  5. WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after installation is finished.
  6. Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.
