What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as the skin for webpages built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is very simple to set up. You can quickly alter the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files, and you are free to modify and expand it however you see fit.

Files structure

The template package that you got is divided into various folders. Let's examine the contents of each subdirectory:

  • Screenshots : includes screenshots of templates. Not for manufacture.

  • Theme : assets for the WordPress theme.

  • bwt-coupons-deals-pro.zip: all of the assets required for the theme are contained in this folder

  • license.txt : contains licence information.

  • readme.txt : feature details about the theme's image paths and font usage and scripts.

Template Installation

The process of installing a template is very straightforward and easy.

Step 1. Theme Installation

Logging into your WordPress admin area is the first step you need to take. then select on

After navigating to the themes page, click on theAdd New button located at the top of the page.

Click on upload theme button.

Click on Choose file after that, choose your bwt-Coupons-Deals-Pro.zip theme and press on Install Now Button..

WordPress will now proceed with installing your selected theme and display a success message, along with options to either activate or preview the theme live.

Step 2. Install a Theme using FTP

The theme can be uploaded using FTP, which is your second installation choice. To use this technique, first, log into your website using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Only the extracted Total folder from the theme file you got should be uploaded to your server.

Then sign in to your WordPress website and go to Appearance Themes to activate total folder.

To directly install a WordPress plugin using a.zip archive, follow the instructions below for uploading the plugin.

Install Required Plugins:

Contact Form 7, Coupons Deals Pro Posttype extension, Smash Balloon Instagram Feed

You must install and enable the Coupons-Deals-Pro-Posttype plugin to use this theme; otherwise, your website's content won't be displayed.

1.Add Plugin : Go to Dashboard Add New Upload plugin..

BWT Key Activation

The steps for activating a BWT key are as follows.

3) Click on "Import Demo".

How to set up homepage

Setup Home Page

Set up your home page by following these steps.

1.To select a template, click Create Page: Go toDashboard Pages Add New Page.

Select the template.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting Reading Set the front page display static page to home page.

You can reorder sections by simply dragging and dropping options into the desired sequence.

Step 1 Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Theme Settings >> Section Ordering

Then select "Run Importer" after selecting "Demo Content Importer".

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

1.The component must first be downloaded from the source (which will be a zip file). ( Post Type plugin.zip). The next step is to view the Plugins » Add New page in the WordPress admin area.

2.After that, select the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen.

3.You'll arrive at the plugin upload screen after doing this. Here, you must pick the plugin file that you previously downloaded to your computer by clicking the choose file button.

4.Following your selection of the file, you must select the install now option.

5.Now WordPress will transfer the plugin file from your computer and perform the installation for you. After the installation is complete, you will see a success notification similar to this.
